Winter gives way to spring, a chill in the air, sunbeams coaxing new growth on budding trees still blanketed with frost.

The quote above, plus photos of sunbeams shining through trees or emanating from clouds, is what sparked my imagination to make this piece of jewelry and all the others in the Sheaves of Light collection.
